§ MR. DELANYI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the appointment of travelling veterinary inspector to the Department has yet been made; and, if not, will he see that in making the appointment due regard shall be had to the number of experienced and well-qualified Catholic Irishmen eligible for the post, and also to the desirability of a more equal distribution of public appointments in Ireland, and above all that no further importations shall be made in filling positions under the Irish Agricultural Department.
