HC Deb 06 May 1907 vol 173 c1302
MR. CARR-GOMM (Southwark, Rotherhithe)

To ask Mr. Attorney-General whether his attention has been called to the complaints as to the wording of the Money-Lenders Act, 1900, which have been made in many recent cases in the courts; and whether, in view of the increasing number of these cases in all parts of the country and the methods of money-lenders which are being thereby brought under public notice, he will introduce a Bill to amend this Act.

(Answered by Sir John Walton.) This matter is under the consideration of the Lord Chancellor, with whom the hon. Member would do well to communicate.
