To ask the Secretary to the Treasury if he will state in detail how the sum of £102,000 paid from the Irish Development Grant to the income account of the Irish Land Purchase Fund has been expended.

(Answered by Mr. Runciman) The sum of £102,000 has been used in making good the deficiencies on the income account of the Irish Land Purchase Fund up to 31st March, 1906. These deficiencies have been due to—
