CAPTAIN BALFOUR (Middlesex, Hornsey)To ask the Postmaster-General if he can give any probable date for the opening of the post office telephone exchange at Crouch End.
§ (Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) The exchange building will be completed at the end of the present month and the installation of the switch board and exchange plant will be carried out as soon as possible. It is hoped that the exchange will be opened in November. Five call offices have been opened in the district and others will be opened shortly.
