§ MR. CAVETo ask the Secretary of State for War whether the question of the salaries of the surveyors and assistant-surveyors of the staff for engineer services has now been fully considered, and with what result, or when a decision on the subject may be expected.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) The question is still under consideration, and it is not practicable at present to say when a decision may be expected.
