MR. KETTLE (Tyrone, E.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state the number of schools that obtained grants under the Intermediate Education (Ireland) Acts in each year from 1900 to 1906; also the number of students who presented themselves for the examinations of the Intermediate Education Board and the number who passed in each of these years.

To ask the Secretary to the Treasury what was the total amount of the school grant paid by the Intermediate Education Board (Ireland) to managers of Irish secondary schools in the years 1903, 1904, 1905, and 1906 respectively; and what was the rate of payment for each successful pupil in each of these years.
