§ MR. SUMMERBELLI beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies if he is yet in a position to give the names of the Commission appointed by the Trinidad Government to revise the local Customs tariff; whether a representative of the working class has been appointed a member of the Commission; and whether the proceedings of the Commission will be made public.
§ MR. HARCOURTI regret that I am unable to give the hon. Member the information he desires, but the Secretary of State has telegraphed to the Governor on the subject.
§ MR. SUMMERBELLIs it not strange that information which appeared in the Press weeks ago cannot be got for the Government yet?
