RICHARDS (Wolverhampton, W.)I beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will take into consideration the amount of revenue that would accrue to his Department each year by a 1 per cent tax upon the Stock Exchange transactions; and whether he will consider the justice of this proposal.
§ MR. ASQUITHI will take care not to lose sight of the possibility of a readjustment of the Stamp Duties in all their aspects.
