§ MAJOR ANSTRUTHER-GRAYI beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, seeing that it is likely that the proposed flax industry in St. Helena will still leave many of the inhabitants unemployed, he will take any further steps to alleviate the distress of the inhabitants of that island, who have practically lost their livelihood by the action of the Government in removing the troops hitherto quartered there.
