§ MR. RADFORD (Islington, E.)I beg to ask the First Commissioner of Works whether, in view of the closing of the Reading Room of the British Museum from 15th April till 31st October, and the inconvenience to be caused thereby to students and literary men and women who daily make use of the Reading Room, steps will be taken to minimise the inconvenience by providing temporary accommodation for the readers in the galleries of the Museum or elsewhere.
§ MR. HARCOURTI would refer my hon. friend to the printed Answer given yesterday by the Secretary of the Treasury to the hon. Member for Northampton, and circulated with the Votes this morning.† The matter is in the hands of the Trustees, and I have no power to make other arrangements.
