§ MR. C. B. HARMSWORTH (Worcestershire, Droitwich)To ask the hon. Member for South Somerset, as representing the President of the Board of Agriculture, whether, seeing that a circular has been addressed by that Department to county councils in Great Britain, calling attention to the Report of the Departmental Committee on small holdings, and inviting the attention of such county councils to the suggestions and recommendations made by the Committee to which effect might be given under the law as it stands, and that the Department has also invited replies to that circular letter, he will at the earliest possible moment publish such replies for the benefit of Members of this House.
