§ MAJOR ANSTRUTHER-GRAY (St. Andrews Burghs)To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has any official information to the effect that some 5,000 Russian troops have been sent to guard the Russian Consulates in Persia; and whether he will consider the advisability of despatching troops to guard British Consulates there, with a view to preventing the influence of Great Britain being predominated by that of any other Power.
