HUGH LAW (Donegal, W.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he can say what has been the result of the negotiations recently carried on by the Congested Districts Board for the purchase of a 869 portion of the estate of the Earl of Leitrim, in the neighbourhood of Falcarragh, county Donegal.
§ MR. BIRRELLIn February, 1906, the Congested Districts Board made an offer for the purchase of a portion of the estate referred to, but the offer was not accepted by the owner. The Board again considered the matter at their recent meeting, and decided to take no further steps for the present.
