PARKER (Halifax)To ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether he will state the number of boy clerks and boy copyists entered into the Civil Service during the years 1904, 1905, and 1906; also the number of boy clerks and boy copyists who, during those years, were appointed to situations in the Second Division, Excise and Customs.
§ (Answered by Mr. Runciman.) I. The number of boy clerks†certificated by the Civil Service Commissioners during the years 1904 to 1906 are, I am informed, as follows: —
