§ MR. HAYDEN (Roscommon, S.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether his attention has been called to the fact that Mr. Justice Kenny, at the recent Roscommon Assizes, directed the Crown Solicitor not to permit any of the jurors who tried a particular case, and brought in a verdict not in agreement with his views, to be empanelled in any future cases coming before him; and whether the Crown Solicitor is in any way bound by this direction.
§ THE ATTORNEY-GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. Cherry, Liverpool Exchange)My right hon. friend has asked me to answer this Question. I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave yesterday to the similar Question put by the hon. and learned Member for South Donegal.†
