§ THE CIVIL LORD OF THE ADMIRALTY (Mr. LAMBERT, Devonshire, South Molton)Yes, Sir. Supplementary lieutenants are employed on such duties as are assigned to them by the captain. They are eligible for appointments in the coastguard, harbour ships and dockyards, and their claims to such appointments are considered with those of other officers.
