LUPTON (Lincolnshire, Sleaford)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty if the new construction in the American Navy for the year 1905–6 was £11,374,876; if the new construction for the French Navy in the year 1905 cost £5,739,230; if he proposes to increase the British new construction to the sum of £17,000,000; and, if not, will the Admiralty abandon the two-Power theory.
