§ MR. BELLAIRSI beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether, in view of the amount of preparatory work which will have to be done in order to bring the Radio-Telegraphic Convention into operation, and to the fact that the deliberations of the Parliamentary Committee must be prolonged, His Majesty's Government will definitely postpone Great Britain's adhesion to the Convention for a further period of twelve months or more.
§ MR. SYDNEY BUXTONThe Radio-Telegraphic Convention does not come into force till 1st July, 1908, a date which allows ample time, after the Committee has reported, to make all necessary arrangements consequent on ratification.
