DR. RUTHERFORDI beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether there is still only one lunatic asylum for the whole of Upper and Lower Egypt; what is the number of beds; what is the number of Europeans and Natives respectively mentally afflicted who have been annually placed under control during the last five years; and what proportion do those figures bear to the total number of persons of unsound mind throughout the country.
