HC Deb 27 June 1907 vol 177 c86
Mr. C. J. O'DONNELL (Newington,. Walworth)

To ask the Secretary of State for India if he will state, for each district in the Punjab, the amount of land revenue assessed on it in 1855 and at each new settlement since that year, noting the districts that have been added to or taken from the Punjab Province since 1855.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Motley.) I am in communication with the Government of India regarding the preparation of a return of the land revenue assessments of the districts of the Punjab from 1855 to date, which will give the information desired by the hon. Member. I propose to lay it upon the Table.
