§ MR. LONSDALE (Armagh, Mid.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Local Goverment Board have decided between the rival claimants to the position of chairman of the Mayo County Council; and who is the rightful holder of that office.
§ MR. BIRRELLI have already stated that the Local Government Board have no power to decide the question which the hon. Member raises. The question is a purely legal one, and could only be finally decided by a Court of law.
