§ MR. LONSDALEI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he has received particulars of the midnight affray between the police and a disorderly crowd at Athenry on Thursday last; and whether any of the rioters were arrested.
§ MR. BIRRELLI have received a police report of the disturbance at Athenry on the night of the 20th instant. Two persons who were identified as being disorderly on the occasion are being 1403 summoned to find sureties to keep the peace.
