HC Deb 25 June 1907 vol 176 c1127
MR. NEILD (Middlesex, Ealing)

To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether the question of an adequate reserve of heavy guns has been reconsidered in the light of the experience gained in the Russo-Japanese war; and, if so, whether any, and what, change has been or will be made in the reserve hitherto maintained of one gun in reserve for every four afloat.

(Answered by Mr. Lambert.) The Answer to the first part of the Question is in the affirmative. As regards the second part, it is not considered desirable in the public interest that information regarding reserves of guns should be given.
