CHIOZZA MONEYI beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether, in connection with the forthcoming Report on German commercial conditions, special attention will be given to the German national railway systems; and whether ho will cause to be prepared a section comparing the respective fares, 891 freight-charges, facilities, wages, casualties, direct and indirect profits, amps;c, of the British and Prussian railways.
§ MR. LLOYD-GEORGEInformation is being collected with respect to economic conditions in Germany, and also with regard to German railways. I trust that the results of the inquiry will throw light on several of the questions in which my hon. friend is interested.
