§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (Mr. HALDANE, Haddington)A valuation was made of the land in question by the War Department consulting land agent, and by a private firm. It is not usual or desirable to disclose these valuations, but they were considered to justify the price agreed to.
