SUMMERBELLI beg to ask the Postmaster-General if he is aware that his Department have recently taken out the old telephones in the Medomsley district and replaced them with telephones made in Sweden; and, if so, will he state the reason for such change, and also the price and efficiency of the now ones compared with the old.
§ MR. SYDNEY BUXTONThe telephones referred to by the hon. Member were some in stock of a more modern pattern than the old ones. All such instruments now supplied to the Post Office are of British manufacture.
