§ MR. BOWLES (Lambeth, Norwood)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether any delay has occurred in currying out the arrangement described in Paragraph 22 of the instructions as to uniform, enclosed in the Admiralty Circular Letter, No. 23, of the 1st February, 1907, with reference to the free issue of hat ribbons to men joining a new ship; and, if so, what is the cause of this delay.
§ MR. LAMBERTI am informed that no complaint has been received at the Admiralty of any delay having occurred. If the hon. and gallant Member will give me particulars of any case in which he knows of such delay, I will have immediate inquiry made.
