HC Deb 17 June 1907 vol 176 c112
MR. HARMOOD-BANNER (Liverpool, Everton)

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether any other expert, besides Mr. Gurrin, has at any time given an opinion, at the request of the Home Office, upon the authorship of the disputed letters in the Edalji case, or has been consulted as to their authorship; and whether, if not, he will order the same to be submitted to a selected committee of experts for decision.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Gladstone.) The Answer to the first part of the Question is in the affirmative. The second part, therefore, does not arise.
