HC Deb 17 June 1907 vol 176 c122
MR. J. P. FARRELL (Longford, N.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether any steps are being taken to provide an alternative holding of land for the family of the late Terence Reilly, of Abbeylara, county Longford; and whether the inspector has called upon Lynn, the present holder of the evicted farm, with a view to securing a surrender in the interest of the Reillys.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Estates Commissioners have carefully inquired into the application of Terence Reilly's representatives, and have decided to take no action upon it. The Answer to the latter part of the Question is in the negative.
