§ SIR GEORGE DOUGHTYTo ask the President of the Board of Trade if he can state what was the quantity and value of Australian wool imported into the United Kingdom and subsequently 1574 that the clerk to the Commissioners for the Third East Brixton Division was under a misapprehension as to the duties imposed upon him by the Act of last session. The steps recommended by my hon. friend in the last part of the Question have now been taken. I regret the inaccuracy of my previous information. It was supplied by the clerk's assistant, who states that he misunderstood the inquiry put to him.
