§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF TRADE (Mr. LLOYD-GEORGE, Carnarvon Boroughs)I am proposing, under the powers given by Section 32 of the Rail-way and Canal Traffic Act, 1888, to call upon the railway companies to include in the returns forwarded to the Board of Trade under the Railways Regulation Act, 1871, a statement showing in detail the subscriptions or donations to institutions or associations not under the direct control of the companies, and not for the exclusive benefit of the companies' servants.
