§ MR. CAVE (Surrey, Kingston)To ask the Secretary of State for War whether the question of improving the position of the surveyors and assistant surveyors of the staff for engineer services, which was stated as long ago as on the 27th March to be still under consideration, has now been sufficiently considered; and whether, in view of the anxiety which is felt on the subject, he will now announce his decision.
