CAPTAIN CRAIGI beg to ask the Prime Minister whether the Government will favourably consider the question of advancing £5,000,000, or a lesser sum, for the development of British interests in the New Hebrides, provided the islanders consent to the deletion of such clauses in the recent Anglo-French Convention as sanction recruiting of children of tender years for employment from sunrise to sunset with only one hour's rest in the day.
