MR. MEYSEY-THOMPSON (Staffordshire, Handsworth)

To ask the First Commissioner of Works whether he will consider the desirability of introducing electric light, or some other form of lighting, into the Natural History Museum, South Kensington, seeing that it is maintained at the expense of the nation, and that at present the valuable collection contained there is closed to the public on the numerous dark days incidental to the climatic conditions of London.
