§ MR. ASHLEYI beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any progress has yet been made in the negotiations between this country and other Powers with a view to the substitution of a new treaty for that of 1855 with reference to Sweden and Norway.
§ Sir EDWARD GREYI can only refer the hon. Member to my reply of 14th May on this subject, to which, at present, I have nothing to add. When a definite conclusion has been arrived at the result will no doubt be made known by the Powers concerned.
