MR. WHITBREAD (Huntingdonshire, Huntingdon)

To ask the Secretary of State for War what military barracks, hospitals, and cantonments have been erected since the war in the Transvaal and Orange River Colonies; where they are situated and what has been the total expenditure in respect of them at each place; what is the amount of accommodation at each of them and the number of troops now in occupation at each place; and to what use it is proposed to appropriate these institutions in the future.
