HC Deb 30 July 1907 vol 179 c761
MR. PIKE PEASE

I beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies, what reduction has been made in the armed forces at Zomba, and if any further reduction is contemplated.

MR. CHURCHILL

The armed forces in the British Central Africa Protectorate have been reduced by two companies of 100 men and a depot company which was only provisionally stationed at Zomba. No further reduction is contemplated.
