HC Deb 30 July 1907 vol 179 c752
MR. REES (Montgomery Boroughs)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether, in view of the fact that contracts to the value of upwards of £58,000 were placed in Ireland last year, he will consider the propriety of placing contracts for an equal amount in Wales during the current year.

MR. HALDANE

Orders to the amount of £23,349 were placed in Wales last year. I think it would hardly be practicable to place orders on the lines suggested by my hon. friend.
