I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether he will state what is the present armament of H. M. S. "Blake" and H.M.S. "Blenheim," which are to be converted into mother ships for destroyers.

I beg also to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether he will state what are the modifications to be made in the armaments of the cruisers H.M.S. "Blake" and H.M.S "Blenheim."

The original armament of the "Blake" and "Blenheim" was two 9.2.inches, ten 6-inches, and sixteen 3-pounders. The modified armament as mother ships for destroyers will be four 6-inches, four 12-pounders, six 6-pounders. The conversion is now in progress.
