§ MR. WATT (Glasgow, College)To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty if any of the contracts connected with the clothing of the Navy (purchase of cloth, materials, etc.) were in the past year placed in Scotland; and, if so, to what extent.
(Answered by Mr. Edmund Robertson.) Contracts for clothing and clothing materials to the approximate total value of £23,750 were placed with Scottish firms during 1906–7.
