§ MR. MITCHELL-THOMSONI beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether a punitive expedition has been landed in one of the islands of the New Hebrides from His Majesty's cruiser "Cambrian"; and, if so, whether he can give the House any information regarding it.
§ MR. CHURCHILLI understand from the Admiralty that one sailor was killed during the course of a disturbance in the island of Malekula. His Majesty's Government have no further information on the subject at present.
