HC Deb 17 July 1907 vol 178 c702
MR. LONSDALE

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland what are the reasons for the delay in the issue of the minutes of evidence taken by the Committee of Inquiry into the working of the Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction in Ireland; and whether he will arrange for the publication of the same without further delay.

MR. BIRRELL

The publication of the evidence taken by the Committee referred to is not a matte? for which I am responsible. I have, however, ascertained from His Majesty's Stationery Office that the evidence has been in the printer's hands for some time and will be ready for distribution about the 26th instant. The volume is a large one containing over a thousand pages.
