§ CLAUDE HAY (Shoreditch, Hoxton)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that owing to lack of accommodation at the sergeants' mess, Queen's Barracks, Perth, there is scarcely standing room when the mess is being used by Volunteer sergeant instructors, Militia permanent staff sergeants, and depot sergeants; and what steps have been taken to secure an immediate remedy.
§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (Mr. Haldane, Haddington)Sanction has been given for the provision of an additional room for the sergeants' mess and the work will be put in hand as quickly as possible.
