HC Deb 10 July 1907 vol 177 cc1598-9
MR. MITCHELL-THOMSON

I beg. to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether the bar at Sheerness is to be dredged to a depth sufficient to enable the "Dreadnought" to cross at all states of the tide.

MR. EDMUND ROBERTSON

As a result of the dredging which is in contemplation, the depth over the bar will be sufficient to enable the "Dreadnought" to enter at half tide.
