MR. FIELD (Dublin, St. Patrick)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether the postmastership of Limerick, with an annual salary of £480 a year attached to it, is now vacant, or is about to become vacant; whether he is aware that the postmastership of this city has not been held by an Irishman for several years past; and whether, before selecting the best qualified candidate for the future postmastership of this place, he will give some consideration to the claims of applicants in Ireland.
