HC Deb 08 July 1907 vol 177 c1177
MR. HAROLD COX

I beg to ask the Prime Minister whether he will call the attention of the Ministerial Committee now engaged in considering proposals for an all-red route to the declaration of policy made by himself on 27th March, to the effect that the Government wore no advocates of subsidised services of this kind where an absolute equivalent for the money spent was not received.

SIR H. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN

I have no doubt the Committee are aware of that recent expression of opinion from which I have no desire to recede.
