§ MR. WEIRI beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the forthcoming Budget, he has yet considered the expediency of widening the range of taxation on luxuries, such as deer forests, salmon fishings, grouse moors, yachts, and motor-cars.

I cannot add anything to that statement unless and until the time comes when I can lay specific proposals before the House.
