HC Deb 25 February 1907 vol 169 c1237
MR. FETHERSTONHAUGH (Fermanagh, N.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether any arrangements have yet been made by which the Crown, as owner of the bed and soil of Lough Erne, would contribute towards the cost of the preservation of the fisheries in the Lough.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) My predecessor informed the hon. Member, on 27th November last,†that the Commissioners of Woods and Forests had asked the local Board of Conservators to put forward a definite proposal as to the Commissioners' co-operation in the protection of the fisheries in Lough Erne. No such proposal has as yet been received by the Commissioners.
