Kearley,) DevonportThe Report of the Inspecting Officer who held an inquiry into this regrettable accident—by which this House lost a distinguished Member—is practically completed, but it is not proposed to publish it until after the conclusion of certain criminal proceedings which have been instituted against one of the railway servants concerned. The Board of Trade are informed that steps have already been taken to provide in future for the employment of fog signalmen during snowstorms.
