§ MR. CARLILE (Hertfordshire, St. Albans)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if the French Government has decided finally to ratify the New Hebrides Convention by means of legislation.
§ SIR EDWARD GREYThe French Government decided in December that the Convention could be ratified by Presidential Decree, and ratifications of the Convention were exchanged on January 9th last.
